What We Believe

Our Statement of Belief

We believe in God, the Father of all, and in Jesus Christ, His son, our Lord and Savior, and in the Holy Spirit, our comforter and guide.  We believe in the bible as the record of God’s revelation.  We believe in the practice of prayer and in eternal life.  We believe in the freedom and responsibility of the individual soul and in the right of private judgment in all matters of conscience.  We believe that the duty of all is to seek the Kingdom of God and his righteousness; to find salvation from a selfish heart and live in loving service to humanity.  We hold it to be the mission of the church to proclaim the gospel to all.  We believe in the worth of worship and in the value of the sacraments.  In this faith we affirm our loyalty to God, and our purposes to do His will.

Our Church Covenant

We covenant together as a Christian Church to share in and maintain the worship of God: to proclaim the gospel of Christ; to make His will dominant in our lives; to develop a consciousness of our relations and duties to God.  We will seek to inspire a love for truth; passion for righteousness and enthusiasm for service; to submit ourselves to the government of this church; to work, give, and pray for its increase, purity and peace; and seek in every way to make us a power for the building up of the Kingdom of God.
